Some people think that all dentists are pretty much the same. But the American Dental Association (ADA) recognizes nine different dental specialties, among them pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, periodontics, and endodontics. Then there are the dental lab technicians who manufacture bridges, caps, crowns, and other pieces of dental work. And it’s possible that during your lifetime you’ll have to see a variety of those specialists. Wouldn’t it be easier if a single office of general dentistry housed one of each? And wouldn’t it be even easier if that office provided same day treatments and services?
